Istanbul prosecutor has managed to identify the Israeli officials who participated in a deadly flotilla raid on a Turkish-owned aid ship in international waters in 2010, Sabah daily newspaper says.

Activists who were on Mavi Marmara ship when the raid took place have examined photos shown by the prosecutor. One of the witnesses said that Gavriel Ashkenazi, former Commander-in-Chief of the Israeli Defense Forces, participated in the raid, Sabah notes.

Sabah adds that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman were among the 37 suspects charged with the raid.

Sabah says that the prosecutor now was readying to issue international warrant for the arrest of the suspects.
