Kyrgyzstan was included into the top five countries with the best legislative protection of the rights of borrowers and lenders. The President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev said in his congratulatory speech on the Day of Bank Workers.

Almazbek Atambayev said that Kyrgyzstan's banking system continues to be leading among the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union in the development of processing services and mobile banking.
The National Sustainable Development Strategy of the Kyrgyz Republic for 2013-2017 states that the banking system will have to increase lending and reduce interest rates on loans, to attract long-term and cheap financial resources into the economy, to strengthen public confidence in the banking system, the message says.
Banks should act as a catalyst for economic growth. Moreover, the integration within the EEU requires activation of the banking system in support of export-oriented production and promotion of domestic goods and services to foreign markets. We hope that the work of Kyrgyz-Russian Development Fund with the resource base of $1 billion would give impetus to the development of the real sector of the economy, the President said.
